Sweet Flower Border

My project today features a fun (and easy to make!) paper flower border created with a Sizzix eclips (657150 Edges).

I started with a Frosted Teal Prismatic 70# base. I then cut the border and extra flowers from White Prismatic 70# . I sponged all the flower edges with Wild Honey Ranger Distress Inks and then assembled my border.

I shaped the petals with my fingers for a more 3-D effect and then added buttons to the flower centers.

The picture was matted with Honey Hopsack Treasure 80# and White Prismatic 70#. The letters were cut from Honey Hopsack Treasure 80# using the Sizzix eclips (656161 Birthday & Beanpole). I added extra flowers as accents.

Here is my project (that’s my nephew Mason when he was a little guy!). I used I-38 Old Tree colored it with Touch Twin markers and cut it out. I added a mix of Ultra Fine Citrus Crush , Ultra Fine Sage, and Ultra Fine Strawberry Flower Soft to the tree and below on the ground.

Check out what the other girls made!
