Hello Summer

The Impression Obsession Team is having fun with die cuts old and new from Impression Obsession. You can see a list of participants on the IO Blog –HERE

My card uses DIE698-W Flamingo Set and DI688-B Hello Summer.  I didn’t have the right pink cardstck for the flamingo s I made my own by swiping an inkpad on white cardstock fr the darker pink (wings) and then brushing some ink onto my cardstock for a lighter pink (bodies and Hello phrase)

Picket Fence Studios New Release!

There’s a new release at Picket Fence Studios today and I get to play along with the Design Team this month! Wheeeeeee! I’ll be sharing more projects with the new stamps so check back!

I just had to use some chickens for my first project! This card uses One Hot Chick and the Seriously Word Die. I used my Life Changing Blender Brushes along with  Oxide inks (Twisted Citron & Salty Ocean) to create the background. Then I used my finger in a dab of white acrylic paint to make the clouds. I stamped the chickens and phrase on top with black ink an my Mini MISTI.  I stamped another set of chickens on watercolor paper and painted them with watercolors. When they were dry I cut out just the bodies and layered the on my card. I then added the Seriously Word Die.

This card makes me laugh… we have a bit of a stray cat issue that my neighbor and I have been tackling. So yeah, fitting. I started out with a kraft card that I stenciled with Picked Raspberry Oxide ink and Watercolor Brush Stroke Stencil and my Life Changing Blender Brushes.  I stamped Litter of Cats with my Mini MISTI and watercolored. Once dry I cut the cat panel out and attached it to my card and then added my sentiment.

…and last but not least is a card using that looks a whole lot like my friend Giovana’s dog Milo.  I made the background by adding tape and using Life Changing Blender Brushes along with  Oxide ink (Cracked Pistachio) to add the upper shadow and then repositioned the tape and used the Dandelion Stencil with  Salty Ocean in on the bottom section. Then I stamped the sentiment from State of Sarcasm with black ink and my Mini MISTI. I stamped the dog from Lucky Puppy watercolored him and then added him on top.

My card uses E20097 Eddie Boy Solid and  3167-MD Card Sentiments.  I used Color Burst to make my background and I stamped the sentiment with my MISTI.
