Happy Friday!
I’m hosting the Mix-Ability challenge on Splitcoast this week! The challenge is to use a heart in your project along with at least two mediums. I used Stamps from Impression Obsession, inks, watercolor and a little white acrylic paint on my project. You can see the challenge HERE.
I started by stamping my flower (). I used my Mini MISTI (My Sweet Petunia) to stamp the image repeatedly adding inks to the stamp until I got a good blend. Did you notice the new My Sweet Petunia Creative Corners? I love them!!!
Next I added my heart () and some loose watercoloring around the flower. I stamped my heart directly on top of my flower. I added some details to the flower with white acrylic paint.
I stamped the sentiment with black ink. The My Sweet Petunia Creative Corners came in especially handy here because My paper was a little warped from the watercoloring It held the center down very firmly so I could stamp my sentiment without magnets sticking together.. nice!
After I was done with this step I misted the back side of the paper lightly with water and let it dry with a couple heavy books on top to get it smooth again before assembling my card.
