Faux Pressed Snowflakes

I have a fun technique card to share today using products from Taylored Expressions. I used the Faux Pressed Flowers technique but adapted it to make a snowflake card.

Be Merry Jeanne_Streiff

I started out with a crumpled ball of white wrapping tissue.Be Merry 1 Jeanne_Streiff

I tapping an ink pad onto the paper plate and adding some water (Ranger Distress Peacock Feathers) to the ink.Be Merry 2 Jeanne_Streiff

I dipped my tissue into the wet ink until everything was covered. I left some of the areas lighter.Be Merry 3 Jeanne_Streiff

After the tissue was dry (make sure it’s totally dry!) I die cut the snowflakes. Snowflake die is from the Mitten Garland set.Be Merry 4 Jeanne_Streiff

Apply the tissue snowflakes carefully to your card.Be Merry 5 Jeanne_Streiff

Emboss the card with Folder – Winter Flurry embossing folder. Be Merry 6 Jeanne_Streiff

Die cut the phrase twice (I used Sugar Cube and Oreo). Stack the layers and attach to card. Die is from the Mitten Garland set.

Add a button and you are done!Be Merry Jeanne_Streiff close

AA Great Day
