Calendar Art 1.28.15 (With A Little Tutorial!)

I added some die cut letters to today’s painting.

I used 2 coats of Liquitex Gesso and the watercolored with QoR Modern Watercolors. See full supply list below.

I used an old book page and added Gesso and paints (I used Phthalo Blue and Van Dyke Brown)

Then I die cut leters (Sizzix Thinlits Alphanumeric) with my Big Shot. I used the Sizzix Magnetic Platform to keep my letter dies in place while cutting.

After adding two thin coats of Gesso I painted my cheese. That sounds funny.

Add the letters and you’re done!
