Shamrock Purse & Tutorial

Happy Saturday!

This week at C4C Challenges  (C4C227) we have a 2 fold challenge… a sketch & the color green!

I saw the sketch an knew just what I was going to do… make a shamrock purse (nobody is going to be pinching me this year!). I used my white purse from
Z Becky Brown for my project. These purses are so fun (and EASY!) to make.

I started out by cutting some inserts from patterned paper. Z Becky Brown handbags are clear so it’s a cinch to decorate with patterned papers or you can stamp, draw, paint … whatever you want. So much fun!

Cute with just the paper, huh?

I cut some borders using my Sizzix Big Shot & 656541 Sizzlet Decorative Strip Dots & Scallops (I only used the scallop section for this project).

Cut a 2 1/4″ strip of white cardstock and add Scallop border to top and bottom. Cut enough to go all around the purse.

Line up and adhere to your purse panels.

Die cut A10176 Sizzix Bigz Shamrock with Sizzix Big Shot.

Sponge edges with brown ink. Use marker to color the stem.

Emboss with 659449 Sizzix Texture Fades Courtyard & Trellis.
