Cute as a Button Challenge Combo!

This month’s Dirty Girl Challenge is to make a project with Buttons.

Focus – Buttons
Required Elements – Buttons…lol
Restricted Elements – No Black ink, paper or embellishments (I used Navy Blue)

This project is also for this week’s JustRite Challenge (JustRite Friday Challenge JRC_018). The challenge is Kid Time (make a project for or about kids).

I made a mini (6″ X 6″) scrap page of my Grandson Konnor using the Stitched With Love set from JustRite. Konnor’s grown a bit since this picture. He’s getting ready to start kindergarten in August. They grow up too darn quick.

Prism Papers

Most of you have figured out by now that I have a true love for the wonderful colors and texture of Prism’s Prismatics line of papers. So it was a sad day for me when Mark, manager of Prism Papers officially released this news:

Prism Papers has spent the past 5 years building up the Prismatics brand, with its rich and vibrant colors, along with the unique watercolor texture, to be a unique and much needed addition to the crafting industry. After much work and dedication in providing top service – we, regretfully, will be exiting the craft industry as of Feb 26, 2010.

The Prism’s Prismatics line has been sold to Bazzill and Prism will no longer be a part of the scrapbook/stamp scene.

Prism’s signature Prismatic texture will become Bazzill’s 13th cardstock texture offering. Bazzill has purchased Prism’s inventory of the product and will sell Prismatics going forward.

Bazzill began displaying the Prismatics line in their booth at CHA-Winter 2010 in Anaheim.

Though Prism Prismatics papers will still be available I will miss being a part of the Prism team. Thank you Jamie, Mark and our wonderful DT Coordinator Tami Mayberry – y’all have been a true joy to work with.

Here are a few of my favorite unblogged Prism projects:
