Thank You Bag

It’s time for a new challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon!

This challenge is “Hand Written Journaling” and is sponsored by Sakura.
You can enter and see all the RRR girl’s cards at the Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings blog.
While you’re there don’t forget to enter for the Blog Candy and hop along with the Flower Soft and RR Ribbon girls for a chance at even more prizes –> HERE

Here is my project (that also works for this week’s Flower Soft challenge!):
I used my Sizzix eclips and the  Sizzix eclips Cartridge – Albums, Bags & Boxes to cut my bag. I added the phrase to the Die Cut Dimensions Wildflowers 2 (I cheated a bit and stamped it and traced because my handwriting is terrible!) and doodled the edge of the bag  with a green Sakura gelly Roll pen.  I adhered the Die Cut Dimensions Wildflowers 2 topper to my bag. I added Flower Soft glue and Ultra Fine Citrus Crush to flower centers and  Christmas Green and  Pale Green around flowers. Tie ribbon in bow and attach with a glue dot.
Here’s a closer look:

Wildflowers + eclips Oh My!

The Flower Soft Challenge (FSC30) is to make a project using Summer Colors.

The prize this week – Winners choice – 4 colors of Flower Soft!

Entries will be accepted for the challenge until Midnight CT on June 16th. The winner’s card will be featured on the Flower Soft blog on June 17th!

I have a new toy …. the eclips from Sizzix. Oh the possibilities! This machine cuts cleanly through every cardstock I’ve tried so far. It scores beautifully. I still need to learn all it’s tricks (and actually sit down and read the manual. Ha!). I used the eclips to cut scallop mats and the sentiment for my card. I paired it with the new Flower Soft Die Cut Dimensions Wildflowers 2, Christmas Green, Ultra Fine Sage, Ultra Fine Citrus Crush

I used the Sizzix eclips to cut the Yellow and Light Blue scallop circles (woo hoo – any size you want!) and white circle using Sizzix eclips Cartridge – Albums, Bags & Boxes. Sponge edge of circle with brown ink. Die cut sentiment with Sizzix eclips Cartridge – Flowers & Phrases from Dark Green cardstock. Attach to card. Shape the Die Cut Dimensions Wildflowers 2 punch outs  with a stylus. Add Flower Soft glue and Ultra Fine Citrus Crush to flower centers and  Christmas Green and  Pale Green around flowers. Tie ribbon in bow and attach with a glue dot.
