How about some beachy fun?

It’s time for a new challenge at Impression Obsession! This time the theme is “At The Beach”. Click HERE to see all the participants.

My card uses uses D19998 Otis Octopus, B14733 Sea You Soon, DIE797-YY Crazy Stitched Set and Whacky Stitched Circles. I stamped the octopus and sentiment the with my MISTI and colored the octopus with EverBlend Art Markers.and then cut out with scissors. The background was made with stencils from A Colorful Life Designs (Bubble Zone and Matisse Elements)

Summer Blues

It’s hoooot here! How about a couple summer cards?

It’s time for a new challenge at Impression Obsession! This time we are doing mostly blue cards. Click HERE to see all the participants.

My first card uses uses the sun and a sentiment from CL956 Summer Vibes, along with E12073 Square Frame. I added a smudge of white acrylic ink behind the sentiment to make it stand out. then stamped the with my MISTI. I colored the sun with EverBlend Art Markers.and then cut it out with scissors

Happy 4th of July and a SALE

I had some fun with the new chicken sets from Picket Fence Studios making this fun patriotic chicken coop.

The background was made with Color Burst to give the illusion of fireworks and then I added a swipe of green in along the bottom with an ink pad. I used a Life Changing Blender Brush to help blend the green ink for a grassy look. I colored the chicken coop (The Hen House & Coordinating dies) and cut it out. I cut the door out and placed a chicken from One Hot Chick behind the opening. The flag was something I had in the drawer of crazy stuffs forever It is a cupcake decoration (I removed the toothpick and made a flag pole from a piece of cardstock).
