Fall Love Jeanne.Streiff

I love fall colors and weather, especially after a HOT Texas summer.

I lined up my paper (I used Canson XL Watercolor)  in the corner of my MISTI stamp positioning tool and positioned the CC024 Cover a Card Fancy Leaves onto the lid of the MISTI. Ink randomly with Ranger Distress Fired Brick and Spiced Marmalade. Leave the stamp in the MISTI (very important!). Splash a little water on the paper and let the ink bleed. Let dry.

Reposition your paper in the MISTI and ink the stamp again using the same inks for a nice crisp image.

I splattered a little Spiced Marmalade on Crafter’s Companion Ultra Smooth White cardstock. After it was dry I used the Impression Obsession DIE130-D Love Border Word Die and  my Big Shot and Sizzix Precision Base Plate to die cut my watercolored layer and a  layer using 100# Simon Says Stamp Dark Chocolate cardstock (I also used this for my base). Offset the two die cuts a hair before gluing them together and trim to fit the background. Attach to card.

  1. Gorgeous Fall card, Jeanne. The colors are so vibrant!

  2. I have always loved your work so when I saw your name on SSS I had to come by and let you know. This card is beautiful. I had to pin it.

  3. Super nice card! The buttons and the twine really add to it. Also like the way you did the sentiment.
