Metallic Chalks

Playing with loose chalks again. I used Buzz N Magic loose metallic chalks and Buzz N Magic paint to create my background. I dabbed my sponge into the paint and then into the chalk and kept repeating with  gold and copper chalks until I got this shimmery background.

The images was colored with Copic markers. I added Diamond Stickles to the wings and flower petals.

Here’s a close up of the cute little fairies:

Take a Break

Each week a new challenge is posted on the Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge Blog. After you do the challenge make sure and link your creation to the KKSC31 Challenge post on the blog for a chance to win a prize!

This week’s challenge is to texture on your project.

I used the Bench Friends image and phrase for today’s card. For texture I ran my ATG gun along the side of the cards and added Fushia Mix Flower Soft. When you add Flower Soft this way you need to tamp it down into the glue. Once it’s on there it stays with very little “shedding”.
