Laughing

Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps. Head on over to the IO Blog to see today’s list of participants – HERE

My card uses E17207 Life is Better.  I created the background using a stencil (A Colorful Life Designs Bare Rainbow ).  I added some acrylic paints (white and light blue). Once that was dry I stamped the sentiment with my MISTI.  I finished my card by adding dots made with Nuvo Drops.

My first card uses E23030 Rooster 1, H12064 Circle Frame 1, D20727 Life is Wonderful. I colored with EverBlend Art Markers. I used a stencil (Marvelous Masks Deckled Rectangle) to create the border and used my MISTI to get a nice solid image.

My next card uses G23029 Rooster 2,  C14781 You’re My Favorite and G9145 Chicken Wire Heart. I used acrylic paint t= create the background and when I stamped the rooster (my MISTI I had a little happy accident when the ink pooled a little over the paint. I dabbed it with a paper towel and it left a sheer spot where the paint showed through. I liked the rusty look it had so I dabbed more in the center of the rooster.
