New Color Burst Colors and some CHA Fun!

Hello there!

I got to play with the new Color Burst colors (Caribbean Brights) from Ken Oliver Crafts at CHA! I didn’t have any to take home so I had the Color Burst Master Ken Oliver make me some sheets of watercolor paper up with some of the new colors and I promptly went back to my hotel and made up some quick cards.  The first two cards use the new Color Burst colors and Ken Oliver Craft stamps (Covered Bridges and Studio Collection Set 1)

Here’s a peek at the new colors!

My last card uses the new (and equally awesome!) new patterned papers from Ken Oliver Crafts that look just like you made a Color Burst background (without getting your hands pretty colors). This paper collection is called Color Burst Splash (and will be available soon). I also stained a canvas flower with Color Burst to match! The stamp is from Impression Obsession. Fun stuff!

CHA – What a fun weekend!!!

I had so much fun this weekend! It was so great to see some old friends, meet many of my online friends for the first time and make some new friends!!! There are way too many to name (see Sherry’s blog for more pictures!).

It was so exciting to FINALLY meet Lisa Bryson from Whipper Snapper, Jamie (what a cutie!) from Prism Papers and Gina Krupsky the one and only Gina K.

I had a great time with Jan Marie from Flourishes (bump…hehe), Kristi, Candice and Vicki at the Hanna booth (always good fun!), all the wonderful ladies at the Spellbinders booth (did you get sick of us?), hanging out with Anna Wight, Marianne Walker and Kathy Sanders (AKA Colorin’ Kate) and Vicki Garrett at dinner, drooling at the Ranger booth, and making a new friend Stephanie at Inque Boutique.

Kristi, Sherry, Candice and Vicki and me making a silly face.

I found some cool stuff in some of the booths! The JustRite Stampers booth had these beautiful cakes on display (who’d of thought diapers could make such a pretty cake).

Look at all the cake slice boxes on this one!

Maya Road had such a pretty display! Gorgeous samples everywhere!!!

I have some other fun news!

I’ve been asked to work with Elzybells on their very first design team!
