Fall Leaf!

This is the card that I made for this week’s MIX-Ability Challenge (MIX86) at Splitcoast. This week was a technique challenge (Faux Marble). This was so easy! I will be using this technique again.

Wet watercolor paper… crumple and then spray with your favorite ink sprays.

I did a whole sheet of paper. I used the lighter area for my background and a darker area for my leaf die cut and letters.I die cut my letters using the new Sizzix Alphanumeric die set. 125 letters and numbers in this set… WOW!

I sponged a little green ink onto my background and then added my backgrpound and letters to my card.

I die cut my leaf. This is my new favorite leaf die (660039 Sizzix Layered Leaf). It’s large but not too big and it comes with a matching embossing folder.  Looks pretty already, wait…

Emboss. Pretty huh? But wait….

Sponge edges with brown ink and add Copper Stickles. Yum!
