I have a fun project to share today using the Sizzix Bigz Die – Fox #2 and Ken Oliver Color Burst panels to paper piece a shaped card.
I created my card by first folding my cardstock and then die cutting leaving the tips of the ears outside of the die.
I made watercolor panels with Color Burst – Sepia and Burnt Orange.
then another with Burnt Orange and Fuchsia
Apply Stick It to the back of the Color Burst papers.
Die cut the extra pieces. Sponge edges with Click-it Ink Pad Walnut and doodle an edge with a black pen.
Assemble all the pieces and add a little white acrylic paint for highlights on the eyes and nose.

To make my background I stamped G16165 Lg. Boxwood Stem in green ink (with my Mini MISTI) over a panel of sparkle paper that I colored with Color Burst (Terra Verde and Ultramarine Blue).
I misted the image with water to give it a little more of a surreal look.
I used a piece of white cardstock for my sentiment panel. I used the same image (G16165 Lg. Boxwood Stem) and stamped off once before stamping on the panel to lighten the color. I stamped the sentiment (MC664 Happy Clear Set) and then added the Wishes die cut. I lined up my sentiment panel with my background panel so they would be all matchy matchy.
I used Perfect Layers Mini set and Perfect Cutting Mat along with my Ken Oliver Crafts Tool it All to create my layers on my card.
