New IO Challenge with Color Burst and MISTI!

New Impression Obsession Challenge – Birthday Wishes!

To enter the challenge go to the  Impression Obsession blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog AND you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!

My card uses MC664 Happy Clear Set, H16172 Morning Rose, DIE369-J Greetings and Color Burst from Ken Oliver Crafts.4 Peony Jeanne_Streiff

I used a Stitched Watercolor Media card (Ken Oliver Crafts) for my card. This comes premade with a watercolor panel stitched onto the kraft card back. Pretty darn awesome! I stamped H16172 Morning Rose in a light yellow ink (this won’t show, I’m just using it as a guide) with my MISTI from My Sweet Petunia. The MISTI worked great on the card with both cling rubber and clear stamps even with the extra card layers. 1 Peony Jeanne_Streiff

I painted my flower with Color Burst(Lemon Yellow, Fuchsia, Sepia, Lime, Terre Verte) and then added the birthday phrase from MC664 Happy Clear Set.2 Peony Jeanne_Streiff

The background was painted with Liquid Metals (Metallic Jade, Metallic Saffron) and Color Burst Turquoise. Peony Jeanne_Streiff

I added Stick it to black cardstock and then die cut with DIE369-J Greetings.3 Peony Jeanne_Streiff

Look at the pretty shimmer from the Liquid Metals!5 Peony Jeanne_Streiff
