I have a tutorial for this project on the Sizzix Blog today. Check it out HERE.
I used stamps from The Stamps of Life and the following dies from Sizzix: 659197 Sizzix Movers & Shapers XL Die – Bag w/Flap and 657920
Sizzix Bigz Die – Flower Layers & Centers.
Just a FYI … both of these dies are on sale right now!
This is my card for the Mix-ablity Challenge on Splitcoast (MIX65)
This week we were challenged to make a project using a crayon resist technique. I used a cute image from Tiddly Inks (Wryn Howdy Cowgirl ). I colored her with Touch Twin markers (BR101, BR102, YR31, Br95, BG1, BG3, BG5, RP198, BR97, Y44, F126)
Here’s a quick look at how I made my background with Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Paper Crafter’s Crayons (Red/Yellow set) , Gesso and some ink splatters.
After doodling the design I splattered with brown ink. I scraped some of the crayon off the heart and then added some splatters of Gesso.

The CardMaker Blog Team is having a week-long event with Xyron and Teresa Collins Designs! How fun!
Every day this week on the Cardmaker Blog one of the designers will be featured with projects to inspire you using products from both Teresa Collins and Xyron.
Today is my day!
I used papers & stickers from the Teresa Collins Daily Stories Collection to make my card today. The stickers were the perfect size for the circles of the
659237 Sizzix Triple Circle Flip-its card die. I die cut my card and scallop circles and then added the stickers to each of the circles. I die cut two coordinating papers for my side panels (love that butterfly paper!) and used Xyron 1/4″ (6mm) Double Sided Tape to adhere them to my card. I added a little doodling and ribbon to finish my card.
here is the inside of my card:
Look at all the fun products!
Be sure to stop by the Cardmaker Blog all week long to see more CardMaker Team projects using products from Xyron and Teresa Collins Designs!
