Taylored Expressions March Peeks!

Welcome to Day 1 of the March Sneak Peeks at Taylored Expressions!!

Looky… that’s me hanging out with the girls from Taylored Expression for the next couple months!Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the Taylored Expression Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win!

I love the flowers in the Sketched Blooms set! They are so fun to color! I decided to go a little mixed media for my card. I started with white cardstock and sponged red ink randomly and then smeared on some white acrylic paint.  I die cut the Spotted Cutting Plate from pink cardstock and then sponged Memento Lady Bug and Memento Toffee Crunch ink over it … I pretty much covered the pink. Ha! The vase (Various Vases) was die cut from white cardstock and I added a criss cross pattern with a red marker and then doodled lines with a Inkssentials white pen. I added some little white splatters to everything. My main image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with markers (with a few more white paint splatters). I added a doodled border around my image with a fine black pen before I assembled my card.

Love Art Z Becky Brown Bag

This is my project for this week’s Mix-Ability Challenge (MIX61) on Splitcoast.

I used my white purse from Z Becky Brown for my project, a Z Becky Brown Canvas Insert (oooh I love them for painting!) and Inking of You from Tiddly Inks.

Here is my decorated Z Becky Brown Canvas Insert. The background was made with a round sponge brush and acrylic paint (Martha Stewart Purple Yam, mixing with Wedding Cake to get 3 different shades of purple). I colored the image with Touch Twin markers (I changed out the ink pen in the image and made the end into a paint brush). The love die cut is from Stampin’ Up!

The challenge…. April Fools is right around the corner… let’s create a card/project that has a trick in it… Pocket card, slider, magic card… you know, it has SOMETHING to give the receiver a OOOOO moment!!!! 🙂

I made a Sizzix Stand-Ups (Sizzix Movers & Shapers Circle Stand-Ups Card) spinner card using the spinner2stamp & Spinner Dies from The Stamps of Life.
