MIX22 Good Things

This is my card for this week’s Mix-Ability (MIX22) Challenge on Splitcoast. The challenge this week (MIX22) is to use a credit card or scraper and paint and create a pretty background.

I used purple, light blue and white acrylic pants to make my background. I stamped the flowers over my paint and added centers with white and yellow paint.

Supplies:

Stamps: Impression Obsession (H8722 Full Bloom Hollyhocks, C13137 Good Things, D131116 Dot Border )
inks: Clearsnap
Acrylic paints

F4A175 Think Big!

It’s my turn to host the Free for All (F4A175) Challenge on Splitcoast this week!

Here are the paints I used to make my background. (these were just sorta smooshed on and then scraped around with a piece of plastic). I used the same colors (and fancy technique) on red cardstock for my flower petals.

Here’s a peek at the 658437 Susan’s Garden Tool Kit, 658411 Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 8PK – Flower, Rose from Susan’s Garden. These Thinlits sets come in a storage envelope – so handy & pretty!

Inside each set is directions for making the flower from the set.

Die cut flower petals from red painted cardstock.

Use shaping tool and pad from 658437 Susan’s Garden Tool Kit to shape petals.

Die cut leaves from green cardstock.

Assemble your flower using the directions in the package. I used 4 of each size petal for my flower.

Supplies:

Die cuts: Sizzix (657900 Sizzix Big Shot, 658437 Susan’s Garden Tool Kit, 658411 Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 8PK – Flower, Rose)
Papers: Discountcardstock.com (Neenah Solar White, Pop Tones)
Paints: Acrylic craft paint (white, pink, red)
