Elzybells Challenge #20 and Koh-i-nor Pencils


It’s challenge day at Elzybells Art Stamps! Every other week a fun new challenge is posted on the Elzybells blog. After you do the challenge make sure and link your creation to the Challenge post! This week’s Challenge from Steph is to make a card with more than one fold.

I used Gold and Silver Koh-i-noor pencils (with Gamsol and a stump) for coloring the stars on this card. This is the first time I’ve used these pencils and they go on so beautifully smooth. I stamped on both Frosted Teal and Simply Smooth White and the colors were rich on both.  On both the Teal and White I colored the stars lightly and then smoothed the color with a stump dipped in Gamsol (odorless mineral spirits). I then added a little more pencil to outer edges and blended again.
