Just Because We Wanna Challenge

So Sherry Cheever and I were talking…… Ok nothing too new there. We’ve been talking about starting a blog challenge. A just for fun, no prizes involved kinda challenge. Sound like fun? Everyone is welcome to join in. Each week (we’re going to start out on Sundays, but that may change at some point) somebody will post a challenge and then you make your card and either add a link to your blog in the comment section or to the gallery over at www.SplitcoastStampers.com with the keyword JBWW – that way everyone there can easily find your card in the gallery. Are you still with me? Sound like fun to you? If it does please join us in our first challenge:

Use a little or a lot. However you wish. Glitter and glue, Stickles, sparkly embossing powder. Whatever you want. Have fun and get sparkly 🙂

Here’s a couple of examples to get you creative juices flowing:

The first one has glitter glue dotted for snowflakes. This is a 4 1/4″ X 4 1/4″ card.

Stamps: Snowman Quartet – Whipper Snapper Designs

Paper: Georgia Pacific White, Brocade Blue

The second card has glitter glue on the fairy wings. Very Sparkly!!!

Stamps: Fairy Snowman – Whipper Snapper Designs

  19. Hello! I’m a sucker for glitter!

I made a couple of cards. Sadly, my camera didn’t do the glitter justice in the shots.

  21. Here’s my challenge card, thanks for the good time today!

  22. OMG! That snowman angel is DARLING! I’ll have to hint down some glitter this week. Not sure I’ve ever used it, but I think some was given to me once.

  23. Adorable snow people, Jeanne, and great cards — love the glitter, of course!

  24. What fun, awesome card.

  25. What a great idea! Love the samples. I have a glittery card that I posted today and I am working on one now. DH said he is tired of having glitter on the table where he eats breakfast — I think its a fine tool to campaign for having my own stamping space!

  26. Whoooooaaaaa!
First of all …. what a great idea for a challege!
Second … Please tell me more about your chosen paper … Georgia Pacific! Email me, call me … Pony Express … whatever! I am the Tex sponge! hahaha
Third … Please excuse while I prep for tonight’s class … but I “wanna” play too! hahaha

Seriously … Is the Georgia Pacific available “here”? Is it your fav Copic-user C/S? Do I have too many questions? *wink*

  27. Hi gals, LOVE that you’re starting your own challenges! Cound me in … here’s my glittery snowflake which was SO HARD to photograph!!! The thumbnail looks like it’s a blank card LOL until you click on it!

  33. Wonderful cards, Jeanne! Because of you I finally bought the Jolie Fleurs and here is my first card using it for your challenge:

  34. I did the Dazzling Diamond Dust technique on this card, specifically for this challenge! I’ve never done it before, in fact, I totally forgot that I even had the stuff!! I also used Sugarcoated cardstock (very glittery) for the snowflakes!! Hope you like!!
